HTML Tag Viewer is a local browser extension for inspecting HTML tag usage on the active page. It highlights semantic, non-semantic, raw HTML, and JavaScript-rendered elements directly in the browser.

The extension does not collect, sell, transmit, or share personal data. Page structure analysis, overlay rendering, and screenshot stitching run locally in Chrome. Screenshots are copied only to the user's clipboard after the user clicks the relevant report button.

The extension does not use remote code, analytics, advertising trackers, external servers, or background data transfer. It requests only the Chrome permissions needed for active-tab inspection, content script injection, screenshot capture, offscreen clipboard handling, and clipboard writing.

If the user captures a screenshot, the image stays on the user's device and is written to the system clipboard. The extension does not upload that image anywhere.
